Chiaki was back from her school trip and everyone liked the present she brought me. The hat is a real "eye catcher". I will where when I have a really quiet class and need a conversation starter.
We continued with talking about communication and went over the animal noises. Here is a link to more and even for different languages. Remember try to read some stories and see how they are used.
We also talked about the difference between e-mail and cell phones as a means of communication. I mentioned emicons, but no one was familiar with them. This link will give the most common ones.
My Weekend
We had a beautiful weekend, but it was a little cold. On Saturday I changed my tires and did some work in the yard. On Sunday I went to a teacher's conference at Fuji College. The train ride to Sapporo was nice. The scenery through the mountains was fantastic. I didn't have any time to see the JR Tower, but maybe the next time I go to Sapporo.
