Kimiko had a busy weekend making different kinds of Japanese pickles. She wants them to be ready for when her sons come home at Christmas. Mika went shopping for her husband's birthday present. At first she didn't know what to get, but when they went for a drive it occurred to her that he needed a good pair of sunglasses. The pair he was using didn't fit very well. They will have a special dinner to celebrate his birthday this weekend.
We talked about the homework and Kimiko would like to go to Spain to see the Sagrada Familiaand Mika would like to go to South Africa to see the animals. It will be interesting to see what Takiko and Ikuko have to say next week.
