Keiko was back and recovered from her cold, but was tired from taking tests. She wasn't too happy most of the results, but her English score was good. The other Keiko spent the weekend at a curling camp. Kazumi was doing a make up class.

We did the Ensemble exercise and really had some good sentences and questions. People were very imaginative. We may do it a little bit again next week, but with different partners. The homework for next week is the Solo.

Mika had car trouble on the weekend. She wanted to go shopping on Sunday morning, but when she tried to start her car it wouldn't turn over. She tried twice and finally drove her husband's car. When he came home he went out and the car started right up. She is still not sure what the problem was.

We were using shouldand would and we will practice using them again next week. The homework is to do the Language Check.

Sorry, this should have been posted last night, but I got busy before I went home and didn't have a chance.

It took awhile to work through the homework because several people hadn't done it. This grammar pattern is an important one and one we use a lot. If you want more information and examples go here or here.

The homework is to write sentences about things that have happened to you. Make sure one of them is where you have regrets and the other you are relieved by the outcome. Also take a look at the Vocabulary in Detail. We will do the speaking exercise next week in class.
