After last week's poor turn out we had five people this week. Yuko was here and will be able to come more regularly from now on. It turns out she knows Zenta from when she went to his research station with a group of JICA people. Kenji was doing a make up from theThursday class. He has had a lot of meetings and parties.

Satoko and Akiko were absent today. Satoko had a cold and I am not sure about Akiko. Hopefully, they both will be here for next week's class. In doing the warm up exercise today the word envious came up. I explained the meaning and then later when we were doing the practice conversation Junichi used it. That is the best way to remember a new word. Try to use it as soon as you can in a conversation.
There were some interesting sentences and questions using the cards. Remember you can use those cards to practice at home. The more you practice the pattern the eaiser it will be to use in a conversation.
