2G

Only the youngest students today; Yuuki, Mayu, Misako, and Mayumi.":)". Masato went somewhere during the break, but I don't remember where. In this group everyone did the winter vacation homework. I am sure the people who were absent had too.

We talked a little about my vacation and I am surprised by how few people know what a moose is. I got the picture from this site A picture named meating.jpg

We talked about traditions and customs tonight. We will start the conversation next week. There is no homework for next week, but the people who were absent tonight can talk about the story that they read over the vacation.

Only three people today, but several people have to come from quite a ways away, so with the snow I didn't expect them to make it. Takahiro and Kiriko are both busy this time of year, so I knew they wouldn't be here. We talked about people's holidays and learned that Sayuri went to Bali over the break and just got back yesterday. It sounds like she had a very restful time. Yumiko on the other hand didn't have a very good time. On New Year's Eve she slipped and fell on the ice and hurt her shoulder. She had it x-rayed and nothing is broken, but it still hurts. She also caught a cold. Masako also stayed home over the holidays. Her daughter and son-in-law were back for a visit.

We started Unit 10 and did the listening exercise. The homework for next week is the Focus In on page 82.
