Evening Plaza

We had a much bigger class tonight, but we still haven't had everyone back since the break. I guess next week we are planning to have a party after class, so try to make it if you can.

We continued talking about preferences. In the Duet activity we learned that Noriko and Minako have a lot in common. The homework for next week is to do the Solo and the writing exercise on page 91.

We continued talking about landmarks and there were more pictures. No one new the Gateway Arch. There was also a picture of the Eiffel Tower. I mentioned that it was controversial, but so was the the Vietnam Memorial.

Your attempts to design a memorial to the pioneers that settled Obihiro didn't go to well. It is difficult to select the correct symbols.

The homework for next week is the Grammar in Detail.

Morning Plaza

Aren't you glad they have made Tokachi Plaza no smoking. It used to be when they had those really large meeting like they have had the past two weeks the whole building would be filled with cigarette smoke even though people were smoking corners. Now they all have to stand outside.

Still a small class today, but the kids go back to school next Monday, so I am sure that we will have more people next week. The homework for next week is to write three questions about Hokkaido similar to the ones on page 80.
