Evening Plaza

A good turnout tonight. We were able to enjoy the fireworks a little bit before class started.

Takahito did some snowboarding on Saturday at Arashiyama. Some people had to work and others did some shopping.

The homework for next week is to do the Language Check.

Neither Atsuko nor Naoko could find out any information on the monuments I assigned them last week. There was too much snow in each place so they couldn't get near them. I guess we will have to wait for spring.

We didn't have time to do the Listening section, so we will do that next week. The homework is to do the Vocabulary in Detail.

Morning Plaza

Well, we are finally back to our regular numbers now that kids are back in school. People had some good Hokkaido questions, but it didn't sound like people were very successful getting the correct answers.

We started working with past tense verbs, but it is something we do every week at the beginning of class so it won't be so difficult. We talked about famous people and the homework for next week is to write a short profile about a famous person. Try to write at least seven important points about the person.

Enjoy the Ice Festival
