Well, this class did a good job on the research of the monuments. They even took pictures with their cell phones. Manami said she had to crawl over a pile of snow to look at the bust in the park.
The other part of the homework wasn't done as quite as successfully. I know that going over the grammar points is not your favorite thing, but it is important if you are going to improve you English. Take a look over the last part that we didn't do in class and we will talk about it in class. Also look over the Vocabulary in Detail.
No word from Rie about a monument in Tokyo. Maybe she is too busy with her job training to do any sightseeing. Please add a comment 2:59:59 PM
My Weekend
It was a good weekend. We went to a combined housewarming and birthday party at Greg's house (former JOY teacher) in Ikeda. Afterwards I had another party with some friends in downtown Obihiro. On Sunday my wife and I went to see The Last Samurai. It was pretty good and the new theater is really nice. We had to wait for our son to finish a test so we did some shopping and had lunch. We had lunch in the restaurant on the first floor of the Taiyo building. It was pretty good and a reasonable price. I would recommend trying it the next time you go to a movie. We met Naoko (4L) and her family at the movie and then I met Rieko (Evening Plaza) at the Fuji Maru where she works. Please add a comment 2:59:08 PM
