We finished up the unit on shopping by talking about people's favorite stores. Sayo was a little surprised when she mentioned her favorite store and we had to tell her it was out of business.
We moved on to Unit 11 and started talking about emotions. There are a lot of good words on the first page that you should try to remember and use. There is one word that gives people a little trouble. There is always trouble with the difference between embarrassed and ashamed. Check your dictionaries and look carefully at the example sentences.
The homework for next week is to pick three words from the list and write in the center of an A4 piece of paper and then write four things that will help you remember the word. Please add a comment 10:41:02 AM

Mika was absent today which is very unusual. She almost never misses. I am guessing that she may of had troubling starting her car. It was really cold last night, so I am sure many people had trouble getting their cars started if they have a weak battery or don't keep their car in a garage.
We used the Magic Definition Formula today. I think by the end people saw how useful it could be. There was a little bit of a misunderstanding about the word magic, but it can also be used to refer to something special or wonderful.
