Noriko, Takahito, and Yasuhito were absent this evening. Yasuhito called and said he had a cold. Noriko told us last week that she was going to a hot spring with her husband for the weekend and they were leaving on Friday. I am not sure what happened to Takahito.
Miho had a 5-day holiday last week and went to Sapporo for her sister's graduation fashion show and then the Rutsu Ski Area with her family. It sounds like everyone in her family skis or snowboards. Rieko went to Sapporo too, to help her son get moved into his new condo. He will be starting a new job in the spring. She now has a place to stay when she goes to Sapporo. She also got the new car she ordered a few weeks ago.
Only Noako today. We had a good time talking about many different movies and actors. She is a big movie fan, but she also hadn't seen the four movies at the beginning of the unit. It will be interesting to see if any of the Monday night Step 4 students watched any of them over the weekend. Please add a comment 9:52:40 AM
Morning Plaza
I am going to try to get back to posting for each class. With all the computer problems and other things happening at JOY the last two weeks I haven't had time.
This morning we continued working with countable and uncountable nouns I think people have a pretty good idea on how to use them now.
Yumiko has been busy working on a self-portrait for her art class. She said that it was difficult. Toshiko is planning a farewell party for a friend who is moving to Tokyo. It is sad for her to have the friend move. Kumi's in-laws were here last weekend so she is a little tired. Please add a comment 9:51:50 AM
