It's so lonely here. It is almost 7:30 and no one is here yet. I guess with the blowing snow it is probably a good idea to stay home. I am thinking if no one is here by 7:45 I will probably head home. My wife called earlier and said the roads were terrible between JOY and Kamiobihiro.
Next week's homework will be the same as we had this week.
Update: When no one had shown up by 8:45 I decided to head home and it was probably the right decision. The snow drifts were terrible. One place I only got through because a big farm truck had just gone through that spot a few minutes before and I was able follow those tracks. A couple of other spots were touch and go, but I didn't let up on the gas and just kept plowing through. I guess the weather forecast is for more snow on Wednesday. Please add a comment 4:30:49 PM
My Weekend
Everyone enjoying the snow? I am really getting my money's worth out of my snow thrower this year. I finally having it running well and the best pattern to blow the snow the most efficiently. I imagine I will need to use it again when I get home tonight.
Saturday I had a BBQ on my deck and it was lucky we picked Saturday and not Sunday. Originally we were going to do it on Sunday, but that day we had observation classes at JOY. Saturday night I watched the video Pirates of the Carribean. It was a fun movie to watch and I thought Johnny Depp was especially good.
Sunday as I said was a work day at JOY, but it was only in the morning. After everything finished we went to Namaste for lunch. If you have never been there it has very good curry. We had to wait around for Kai to finish is juku lesson and didn't get home until 5:00. Of course, I started blowing snow right away, but I was surprised when it was still snowing when I woke up this morning. Please add a comment 4:28:56 PM
