4:11:40 PM   Programmer vs. Developer: My sister once asked me what the difference was between a programmer and a software developer. Somewhat tongue-in-cheek, I wrote her this reply: Programmer: A biological machine designed to convert caffeine into code. Developer: A person who develops working systems by writing and using software.  [Archipelago]  [via Dewayne Mikkelson and his Radio WebDog, Shadow] // I chuckled at the first cause it is fairly accurate, think the second is a might simple yet still pretty good.   If nothing else, I believe we have far too many of the former and far too few of the latter.
