Verizon to Install WiFi Technology. NEW YORK (AP) -- In a sure sign that the upstart wireless Internet technology called WiFi is proving too powerful to ignore, Verizon Communications Inc. said Thursday that it will install such networks for small and medium-sized businesses.

TiVo quarterly
loss narrows, sees 1 million subs: TiVo posted a narrower quarterly loss and
said it expects to double subscribers to its digital television recording service
over the next year, fueled by recent marketing partnerships and licensing pacts.

Liberate Technologies
Retracts Forecast After Internal Probe: Liberate Technologies withdrew its
financial forecast for coming quarters and placed its chief operating officer
on administrative leave, after an internal investigation into the company's accounting
revealed as much as 11% of revenue reported over five quarters may be questionable.
Liberate has also suspended
their COO. Jeez! Just when I thought my stock was coming back. This company has problems, and I'm certain MSO's are noticing.
