Smalltalk on .NET. Slashdot has a story on Don and John's Smalltalk implementation for .NET. Hat tip to David Buck for pointing this out. [Cincom Smalltalk Blog - Smalltalk with Rants]

This looks promising but I am not sure how useful it is. Do I write code in Smalltalk then use something (smaCC?) to generate .sif files so I can run the SharpSmalltalk compiler to generate dlls that I can use in .Net? In doing so, some of the features I like most (blocks and collections) run slow because .Net doesn't do these so well. I will have to try all this out when I get some time.
