Push the button on your computer and the light goes on right? Not if the miniature version of yourself crawls behind your computer and pulls out all of the pretty wires. Some of them are secured with screws so he had to put a little muscle into it but he managed to break to mount for the video card. I have replaced all but two connections and should be fully operational by tonight. The only serious problem so far seems to be a distinct shadow on the monitor. Everything has been moved from the floor to the shelves so hopefully I won’t have a repeat performance any time soon. I can’t really get mad because I thought he understood my “No-No” warnings and I was laughing the whole time at the way he manhandled the tower. Lessons learned, time to move on and repair the damage. The fish tank of doom has only claimed one victim to date and we can almost see through the water. I think that Maggie’s fish was bad from the start and the others got ill from my attempts at chemical intervention. If things clear up and everybody is moving around looking healthy new occupants should move in on Friday. The fish tank is very calming; I’m turning into a big fan. Before Max the Destroyer ravaged my computer, I was having trouble with the wonderful people at AT&T. it would seem that no one really knows why things get really slow for no reason. And the problems with my email are rare but they promise that they are being worked on. I have no idea where they get their customer service or technical support people but I have seen vans with the logo leaving Elgin state mental hospital. I cant say with any certainty if they were picking up or dropping off but it works either way. Stupidtoms new look is almost ready. Obviously I hit a little bump in the road but I should be ready to roll it out this weekend. PEOPLE WAITING FOR EMAIL RESPONSES PLEASE BARE WITH ME, I’m ABOUT THREE DAYS BEHIND.
