Tonight was much better than last night’s disappointment. We had some friends over to celebrate the holidays and the vodka still tastes good as I sit here in my dungeon typing. I like this time when my whole house is asleep but this noisy-ass furnace and me. I let out one of my dream ideas tonight in random conversation and I’m glad it was as funny to other people as it sounded in my head. I want to install a periscope above my desk that would allow me to take a quick look around before I ascend the stairs. I’m currently working on a plan to do this electronically. Those annoying pop up ads for wireless cameras have me intrigued. If I strategically placed them around the house, I could do a much better periscope without cutting a hole in the floor. I have a sinking feeling that the camera thing will cause me some problems unless they have an invisible model.
Another project in the works is “George and his gut get burned by an infomercial”. This involves the Amazing George ordering an AB-ZAPPER (or whatever they call it) and me taking weekly pictures of his belly. The pictures will be posted every week until he gets noticeable results or the thirty day money back period is almost over. I actually hope it works but I’m not sure how much fun it will be watching TV with that constant sound and smell of bacon frying. I am formally offering to buy a selection of sleevless tshirts if the product actually works but the electrical burns are to hideous to be seen in public. I am willing to do this in the name of science, humor, and battery operated fitness devices. God bless America.
