Happy New Year to Everyone! I truly hope that all of you have an incredible 2002 so when mine goes into the crapper you can carry me. Last night George and I did our almost annual semi-regular deep fried turkey. (This year just a breast but it worked better) It turned out pretty great for planning a short twelve hours before party time. We then proceeded to light the deck on fire for three minutes while I dropped the chicken wings into the oil. Luckily, I was wearing my brand new GAP lined birthday pants and they absorbed the burning corn oil without a problem. This three family last minute bash was what it was and that’s all that it could be. I have grown tired of these last minute scramble for ideas parties so next year is already in the works. We will be throwing our first annual New Years Around the World Party. All guest families will be in charge of a complete 50 minutes of the party. This will include food, drinks, hats, and whatever you want to torture the other guests with. The Eggerts have already spoken for the Eastern United States, which will allow for the frying of the bird. (and anything else that wanders into Georges path) I have included pictures of last nights events in the appropriate stupidpage. Also some shots of Eric’s new baby boy!
