Ok, as long as you asked about the rest of the evening I’ll tell. This is a little embarrassing so I have to let you know that I have permanently scratched Sake off of my consumables list. This being said, away we go.
A pure act of selflessness on our parts led us to grocery shopping with Lisa. I am convinced everything would have been alright if she wouldn’t have taken so long but it doesn’t really matter at this point. Not long after we entered the store Jordy began fidgeting and got a little out of control. His penalty for this unruly behavior was a punch to the gall bladder. (Which he was already scheduled to have removed a little over a week from now, by the way.) After the initial pain wore off I was forced to dodge some flying fruit and then it was on. There is no need to get into the juvenile details of out half hour war but you do need the final battle scene. As I rounded the corner with a fly swatter and a whiffle ball bat I only landed one good shot. Jordy held a can of Raid but appeared to be having some trouble with the top so I went in for the kill. A full shot of ant and roach poison to the eyes will make you drop your weapons quicker than shit. When they finally stopped tearing i had no fight left in me. Nothing better than a shower with your eyes open to make you sleep like a baby. Fear caused me to repeat the process again Sunday morning and made me realize even more why I need my family around.
