I am ready for some football! I drive by two of the local high schools on my way home from work every night and I can’t help but glance at the thermometer on my dash board. They are in helmets, shoulder pads, and shorts, but 108 is dam hot. The kid next door is trying to start on Varsity as a junior so he is running every day outside of practice. I will go to all three varieties of football out here and see how they match up with home. Right now is Arizona’s version of Soldier Field in November. I think I’ll take everyone to a U of A game before we make the trip north to see Arizona State and the Cardinals.
This football rant is brought to you by the fact that my favorite sport is perfectly timed with the girl’s preferred church ceremony. All hail the children’s mass.
I haven’t quite mastered the time zone out here but I know that while clicking around early this morning I was already getting pre-game. Aarggg, everyone’s back and they want to swim. HUGE NEGATIVE. Tomorrow might be a good day to look into an outside TV.
I have no idea if this makes much sense because I was doing too much at once. Max and the dog are a handful. The game is on, and I’m trying to cram in some computer time. Got to go because it looks like I have allowed the boy to draw a green racing stripe all over himself.
