It seems that the church we attended for over 20 years is going to pay the price for being just a bit too ridged in it's views. The church has been stressed in recent years by dissention and divisiveness. It is all too easy to blame a few. On the other hand, those at the top had the greatest opportunity to see and address the problems. It appears to me, and others, that an excess devotion to litergy and emphasis on original sin, with the consiquent judgemental attitude, have lead to the current situation. It is easy to predict that it will take years (more than three) for the organization to right itself. 6:18:09 PM    comment []
