Airplane - No Progress 6:  New skylight positioned in the ceiling supported by the new joists. The area above this skylight is space open to the light well from the real skylight over the sink. There are several opinions as to what the effect will be on the heat load in the kitchen. The skylight on the roof is being replaced with one that can be remotely operated. I expect that will have a dramatic effect on the amount of heat trapped in the attic space.
