Airplane - Gotta call this PROGRESS (at long last) .. cutting and bending metal on the practice piece:

We have things together enough in the shop to be able to start the practice piece. Air gets compressed, regulated, filtered, oiled, and delivered to the drill or rivet gun.

I am getting ready to try spray painting. .. soon time to do priming for corrosion protection .. or not.

The kitchen really did get (almost) done !! .. really It took a couple of weeks to get the mirror scheduled for installation. We had to send the refrigerator back. Since it arrived both broken and with what appeared to be design or manufacturing problems, I am not sure who to blame more, Amana or Sears.

Getting information to be able to make an informed selection of refrigerator is surprisingly difficult.

Airplane - No Progress 12: The Kitchen was getting near the completion .. that was three weeks ago now.. so near but so far.

We needed to take some time off. Here I am in San Diego where we got to take our granddaughter, Ali, to the zoo.
