Off to Greeley

To visit new grandson and the rest of the family.

Buckminster Fuller

  Bucky:
We went to see the one-man performance of "R. Buckminster Fuller: THE HISTORY (and Mystery) of THE UNIVERSE". I have long been a fan of Bucky and we did see the show a couple of years ago. This time I was particularly struck by one passage. When ask why he chose to work independently and not within a large company that might have had the resources to apply to his visions, he replied "by myself, I can work where I have interest and see a need without needing to ask permission".

Match Drilling: Left half of Horizontal Stabilizer
  Cade:
Fully assembled and ready for match drilling of the skin to the internal structure. That is a lot of holes! I can hardely emagine the magnitude of the task that faced builders prior to the development of the prepunched kit.

  Skin2:
... So far ... putting clecos in and out feels sorta fun ... but it also looks like it might go on forever!
