Second anniversary of 9/11

On this day, two years ago, we were packed and ready to leave for the airport.

Since that time, there many things have changed .. not much for the better. It is disappointing to realize that our country seems to be incapable of finding a positive way of dealing with the challenges we face Ö which seem to be the result of our lack of interest/caring/integrity in the past. Here are some links (thanks to Doc) to a couple of items on issues that I find troubling.

Jonathan Peterson: Ideas as Property ó the Big Lie of Big Content. Why suing a twelve year old girl for sharing her record collection is not the same as protecting your barn from intruders.

Jim Moore: False gods: Idolatry and the "first superpower". A critique of our "Strut loudly and whup with a big stick" foreign policy.

Proceeding with Empenaage - match drilling the vertical stabilizer skin
  VS:
It is now my plan to get all parts of the empennage ready for priming at one time. I am not likely to enjoy painting so minimizing the number of setup/cleanup cycles seems like a good idea. The Vertical Stabilizer is next. The instructions seem to be quite a bit briefer than they were for the horizontal stabilizer. I guess it is assumed that the builder has learned something along the way. The spars are lighter weight material that was used on the horizontal stabilizer. I wonder if they are too thin to be countersunk rather than dimpled.
