Dimpling elevator skins looked like it was going to be really hard. Actually, it was fairly easy to open the skin up far enough to get into the dimpler.

Here is my dimpling setup. I built two platforms to support the workpiece on either side of the dimpler. These are made of some of the packing foam from the kit fastened to 2X2 frames. The whole thing is easy to setup and break down. While doing the elevator skins, it was very useful to be able to make fine position adjustments by moving the C-frame rather than the work piece.

Finish match drilling elevator skin to frame holes. Match drill elevator spars to control horns.
