Patrick also mentions Kali Scheme. Kali allowed continuations and closures to be serialized and sent across the network. Sisc Scheme provides similar features and it would be interesting to see if similar ideas could be implemented using that. Unfortunately the ftp site that Patrick links to does not seem to have the Kali Scheme papers anymore.

Patrick Logan likens web continuations to Haystacks UI model and capability based security. Continuations are not a new concept as can be evidenced by his 1989 Usenet posting. I like his thought on 'Hijacking' sessions:
"Hijacking" a session is essentially giving someone the capability to do some work. You have the ability to pass these capabilities on to others, or not.
