Star Wars: légende urbaine? Movie pirates pounce. "Shaun" didn't need to wait in line last week to be among the first to see "Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones." Instead, he joined hundreds of thousands of digital line-jumpers who downloaded an illegal copy of the movie off the Internet days before the film's official opening. À toutes les fois, ce fut pour m'apercevoir que le fichier en question était, soit illisible, soit un autre film. Après avoir testé toutes les versions de titres, pas un seul m'a permis de voir le fameux SW. Légende urbaine que Star Wars eut été disponible sur le web une semaine avant qu'il soit en salle? Google Labs Google Labs?. Looks like Google is starting a Google Labs project. They've already created three newsgroups for it. Check out the Google Labs Voice Search charter and Google Labs Sets charter for more information. Basically, it looks like the "Thursday Announcement" is a new project called Google Labs where they will be experimenting with new cool Google technology like searching-by-phone and categorizing web sites into sets. RIP Stephen Jay Gould Stephen Jay Gould, Biologist and Theorist on Evolution, Dies at 60. Stephen Jay Gould, the evolutionary theorist at Harvard University who helped to reinvigorate the field of paleontology, died today. He was 60 years old. Immense comme perte. Immense. Un type extraordinaire et d'une simplicité remarquable. J'ai eu le privilège de lui parler plusieurs fois, à l'occasion d'une émission de radio sur laquelle j'était recherchiste, et à chaque fois, Gould avait le don de te mettre à l'aise et de ne pas te faire sentir idiot.
