I'm very concerned about the radical Islamic world's polarization of the issues surrounding the September 11th attacks and our subsequent anti-Osama Bin Laden strategy. It has never been about Christianity and Islam, but continuing terrorist activities like the killing of the American reporter in Pakistan threaten to make it so. As an United States citizen, I feel myself slipping into a "us versus them" mindset; almost an acceptance that it is becoming a conflict against Islam. The world should not misunderstand our resolve. We will stop this terrorist cycle, even if we do have to destroy the infrastructure of Iraq, Iran, and others. It just doesn't have to be that way.
