TECHNOCULTURE -- Karlin Lillington finds "weblogs to be a beautifully simple concept that is extremely hard to explain to others because there are no rules and they take so many forms, just like the people who write them. You really need to let people see them for themselves."
I answer questions about blogs from newbies landing among the chatter of my inbox every other day. I've found it's worthwhile explaining that blogs are part of a connected personal homesite system where you write for syndicated coverage just as though you're filling out a form in Microsoft Word. It's also helpful to read Corante on Blogging as the editors do an excellent job of extracting relevant snippets from hundreds of bloggers.
