WATERFORD, Ireland -- If tourism projections hold true, southeast Ireland tourism could bring an economic boost of €550m to the region. Irish tourism agencies are trying to promote the country as a specialist destination for angling, walking and equestian activities. Events tourism, such as the Kilkenny Arts Festival, plays in the spotlight as well.
