GARRINGREEN HOTSPOT -- Corkman Roy Keane returned to form in Manchester United's 3-1 trouncing of West Bromwich Albion yesterday. Keane was always in Albion's faces, often literally, chalking up tackles as if on commission as well as furously bertaing the referee, his assistants and even David Beckham. Irrepressible Keano is relentlessly combative. Keano is an influence even without kicking a ball. He doesn't have to do a lot in terms of shooting, driving forward and taking people on. He knows his job and other people's jobs too. He has the personality and drive that goes with being a captain. Ruud Van Nistelrooy went further, declaring that Keane should become United's manager when Sir Alex Ferguson finally steps aside. "He's already the boss of United in the dressing room. He takes all the decisions for the players. His football brain is perferct, on and off the pitch." [Phil Shaw agrees in The London Independent]
