Reading, writing and video games?. John Seely Brown, chief scientist at Xerox and knowledge provocateur, says we can learn lessons about the vernacular of digital culture by considering lessons from the average teenager. [CNET News.com]

Althogh I was less than impressed with Brown's book The Social Life of Information, this article seems to be really good.  Not to mention it gives me a rationale for buying a game console.  Hmm... xbox or ps2??
