"What kind of peace do I mean? What kind of peace do we seek? Not a Pax Americana enforced on the world by American weapons of war. Not the peace of the grave or the security of the slave. I am talking about genuine peace, the kind of peace that makes life on earth worth living, the kind that enables men and nations to grow and to hope and to build a better life for their children - not merely peace for Americans but peace for all men and women - not merely peace in our time but peace for all time." -- JFK

Let's think back to the Cuban missile crisis -- aerial photos of missiles to be aimed at Miami and Washington. Now let's think about satellite photos of trucks moving spent fuel rods to be turned into nuclear weapons. Now let's think about Powell's evidence for the need to invade Iraq. One of these things is not like the others.

Is it hard to imagine a connection between the Iraq warmongering and the North Korea crisis? You go around calling Jong II a "pygmy", then you try to make a case for invading Iraq. Then Jong II makes you look like a moron: the day before you present "proof" of the need to invade Iraq, Jong II gives you satellite photos of trucks moving nuclear fuel rods to be processed into bomb material. Who's the "pygmy" today?
