I didn't know! A few people stumbled across my little weblog. Fine and dandy; hello. Even more interesting is weblogs.com, that lists recently updated weblogs.
See, I got caught up in building websites for famous companies, and while I was doing that, most of the fun went out of the web. Every big company got a big website, but they're almost always wretched. By that I mean they don't work at all, or if they work even a little bit there are so many problems it makes me want to scream.
But if you ignore the big companies, there are people doing really interesting things. (Zeldman [zeldman.com] is a good place to start looking.) But this weblogs.com list will get you surfing like it's 1995.
Deliciously, weblogs.com sorts by most recent update. Now, is that relevant, or just randomizing? Mostly, it's randomizing. But it means if you post often, you're often at the top of the list. And if you also have a catchy title, (or probably a title that makes it sound like you're a woman) you'll get people reading this stuff you type. You could build traffic. You could build flow. Who knows where it could end!
It's kind of fun.
