"What kind of peace do I mean? What kind of peace do we seek? Not a Pax Americana enforced on the world by American weapons of war. Not the peace of the grave or the security of the slave. I am talking about genuine peace, the kind of peace that makes life on earth worth living, the kind that enables men and nations to grow and to hope and to build a better life for their children - not merely peace for Americans but peace for all men and women - not merely peace in our time but peace for all time." -- JFK

A few weeks ago I read somebody's rant about not using the letter 'l' in variable names (that aren't obviously words) because it's easy to confuse it with the numeral '1'.

I thought that was a silly point. Today, however, I wasted a half hour floundering because I thought Radio's flPostToHomePage was f1PostToHomePage. Brother.

The good news is that I can now post a text file to Radio's weblog from the command line. That's not worth much, maybe, but I don't like having to use a web browser to talk to a web server application -- as a matter of principle.
