The Project for the New American Century is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to a few fundamental propositions: that American leadership is good both for America and for the world; that such leadership requires military strength, diplomatic energy and commitment to moral principle; and that too few political leaders today are making the case for global leadership.

This group is advocating the "neo conservative" strategy of Richard Perle & Wolfowitz mentioned in earlier links. (Perhaps it is the same originator of that strategy.) William Kristol is the president of the group. See the publications section to read "Rebuilding America's Defenses: Strategy, Forces and Resources For a New Century" which should be very illuminating when understanding the U.S. confrontation with Iraq.
