3 Buttons
I'm working completely offline for the first time, and I discovered that the default setting for the "post and publish" buttons is wrong for that situation. The default is to havea single "post and publish" button. When you're working locally, you need to "post" (place a new item in the Radio database) separately from "publishing" (uploading new items to your blog). It's easy to change, but I wonder if the default should be three buttons instead of one.
Oh, and one more discovery. When you're working offline, you should not choose "work offline" from the File menu. That apparently turns off the desktop webserver. Simply being disconnected from the Internet is...um...the other offline, I guess.

Notepad? NOTEPAD?!
I've been looking for the outliner I knew was somewhere inside Radio. I finally found it under a menu item called, of all things, Notepad. Now, I know "notepad" is a pretty generic term, but does it suggest a certain minimal Windows text editor to anyone else?
Would Outliner have been so bad as a menu item? Sheesh.
Now, how on earth do I go from "notepad" to a story posted on my home page? Hmmm... there doesn't even seem to be a way to do it without several intervening steps. It's easy enough to copy and paste, but I thought there'd be a cleaner way.

Notes for instruction
Most of the notes I'm posting here are the kind of notes I take when I'm learning a new piece of software that I need to document. It's a luxury to use software that really works as I do this; in real life most of the software I document isn't nearly done.
