Wow.  My PC is sooo much faster and cleaner now without all of the HP garbage software and other junk I installed over the last three months.  Also, HP did do a great thing by putting all the HP drivers and related software in a folder on the C drive.  Very easy to pick the items I needed (like video and touchpad drivers).  The default XP drivers sucked.  I feel much more in control of my system now. Part of why I went with Alienware for my next system was to insure that nothing that was not needed got onto the machine. Alienware is picky as hell when it comes to getting it right with their machines, and that reputation is a large part of why I chose them. Great support, picky techs during assembly, and the price that goes along with it made them my choice.

Yes, I know that I'm obsessing.
