I was in CompUSA tonight, eyeing (and handling) the Sony PEG-NR70, which is the sibling of the PEG-NR70V that I so dearly want. First impressions:
- It's light. Really light. Once I had some slack from the anti-theft cord that tethered it to the dispay I was suprised at the weight of the the thing.
- The display is gorgeous. I especially appreciate the way the virtual graphitti area lights up when you apply a stroke.
- Fast. Super fast compared to my trusty Handspring Visor Deluxe.
- The jog dial was a little awkward at first, but it seemed that it would be a slight adaptation to get to the point where it would be second nature (GO THUMB!)
All in all it is a very nice unit, and I look forward to getting my hands on it's sibling (with the built in camera) as soon as I can.
