Adam is looking forward to the P2P/RSS 2.0 revolution. So am I. Should the combination of a reliable P2P network (done) and an easy content creation system (almost there) come to pass, we'll start seeing all kinds of crazy stuff, far above and beyiond anything that we've seen thus far in terms of personal(ity) driven blogs, tied together with video, audio, and anything else that we can put together. I can't wait.

UI Article on Kuro5in

On Being Skinned. [kuro5hin.org] (Recommended)

While I agree that allowing for skins can cause confusion in suers, as it breaks the standard "look and feel" of an interface, were a GUI completely skinnable/customized by the end user, it would allow for a massive increase in usability, as the world would always look the way you wanted it to. Admittedly, it would break when it came across a symbol that it had not previously encountered. Still, we are a long way off from seeing that happen in any of the existing operating systems.
