ArrowHead ASP Server (Freshmeat). This project looks promising, but I wonder how they'll address the ODBC driver issue? IIRC, Sun's ChileASP is only $500/server and includes MSSQL drivers licensed from DataDirect.

I told a friend of mine how I broadcast my living-room stereo to all the other stereos in my house with an FM transmitter, and he wanted to know where I got the device. I got it so I could use my computer as a jukebox, and listen to the audio in every room of the house. My sound card is a bit old and lame (it came stock with my workstation), so for now I'm just using it on a CD player.

The one I have (MP3FM) only comes in kit form, meaning you have to build it.

Here's one that's almost identical: http://www.ramseyelectronics.com/cgi-bin/commerce.exe?preadd=action&key=FM25

Here are some others as well: http://www.ccrane.com/fm_transmitter.asp http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00005ICD2/qid%3D1015432023/br%3D1-2/ref%3Dbr%5Flf%5Fe%5F2/002-8238582-2652022

This one comes in PCI/computer card form, so you can drop it in your PC. http://www.pcs-electronics.com/index_n1.shtml

Giving VISAs to Terrorists. This is a tremendous article on the internal INS manueverings behind the massive SEVIS project that I'm involved in, which aims to connect campus registration systems with an INS's centralized information system in near real-time. It is shocking.
