My new box

In my quest to build an insanely fast, insanely quiet new box, I've found myself boning up on overclocking technology. I always yawned when I read a headline about someone eking out an additional fraction of a gigahertz on their box, but there's really a lot of tutorials and reviews out their for cooling a very hot rig. I've found exactly one hit where 'quiet' overlaps with 'really good cooling':

http://www.swiftnets.com/products/liquid.asp

It's a barebones system with what is essentially a motorcycle radiator bolted on the side(!). It purports to handle dual CPU rigs, and to cool them close to room temp without making noise.

I stand in awe.

From Stas Bekman

I don't know/follow php dev, but I've just noticed a few pointers at http://prefnews.ru/ regarding php4ee, which some of you may find interesting (inspiring?) (I haven't read any of them).

Maguma PHP4EE Studio Light

NuSphere PHPEd
The PHP Development Environment for the Enterprise Developer

SRM
PHP goes to the enterprise level

and I thought p5ee was a reach. ;-)
