Making the Switch Press Release: LinOra Corporation Switches from Microsoft Windows to Linux Desktops Using Ximian Evolution I believe the Gartner study's numbers about how it'd cost about $1000/user in support to switch from Windows to a free Office solution (how much more for the whole desktop?). I'd like to see a follow-up ROI study that balances in costs of securing workstation, fighting virus', and ease of remote management.
