Passport, Liberty, or PAPI?
PAPI looks like an interesting entry into the very small market for open
source (GPL'd) cross-website authentication, but I haven't dug too deep
yet:

The depth of documentation and resources on the site imply a decent
funding source, unlike a lot of other academic versions of this type of
software that I've investigated.
