Yow. No posts in October yet and it's already the 20th...
I've joined the Shape Forum. This is a website run by Jerry Weinberg where people get together to talk about the stuff Jerry writes about. I've been reading some of the archives and, let me tell you, there's a lot of stuff there to read and digest. The content up there is "dense." By "dense" I mean there's a high content of great new (to me, at least) ideas per column inch.
The first book that I read that made me think about this concept of density was Alistair Cockburn's "Agile Software Development." Based on a discussion with Jerry at the recent Problem Solving Leadership workshop I attended, I'm now reading his 4 volume set on Quality Software Management (I'm up to the middle of the second book) and it has the same feel. The Shape Forum is like that too.
