What, no posts in three months? ..and a half?

Well, here's the deal: Radio UserLand annoyed me half to insanity being unable to correctly handle RSS feed items containing HTML. My News Aggregator view got severely mangled. Then, a while back, Radio somehow decided to delete my list of subscribed RSS feeds. I have no idea how that happened, but it did. So now I don't use Radio for news aggregation, and subsequently I don't keep the application running at all. It uses way to much of my computer's RAM to just be sitting there, waiting for the occational weblog post.

I still like Radio UserLand on the whole, though. It just doesn't quite fit my needs.

Raise your hand if he has helped you get past some kind of problem." My hand is not only raised, I'm waving it like mad. Just the help I got from him a while back was well worth the $39.95 the Radio license costs, so I just couldn't not register it any more. Go, Lawrence!

This morning as I walked out the door to get to work, there was snow, snow, snow. The snow blew straight into my face, making it impossible to look ahead, forcing me to walk squinting at my own feet. It's hard to see how deep the snow is in front of you when you're walking like that. No really, it is. Just take my word for it.
