Rory Perry's Weblog Law, technology, and the courts FirstGov Search discovery A referral last week led me to the advanced search page at the federal government's information portal: FirstGov. From a single page, you can search the websites of all fifty states or a single state. You can include or exclude a specific url from the search. Apparently the UK is following suit with an information portal of its own called DirectGov, which one reader criticized as suffering from "[a]n astonishing lack of sentences ending in periods." By the way, today is the Court's annual visit to the state's only law school, to hear oral argument in four cases, then judge the finals of the moot court competition. Network willing, the proceedings will be webcast, as usual. I'm writing from the new riverfront Radisson in Morgantown, with complimentary high-speed Internet access in the room. Very handy. 6:37:14 AM [Permanent Link]
