Could this be the world's most dramatically effective baker-infuriating hat? 

An IA suggests a new practice, "findability" — but it's simply a quality attribute (joining all those other "-ilities"). Still, interesting thoughts and perspective on yet another dimension that makes information architecture so interesting and useful. Drawing is a tool of the mind: seeing, forming a vision (abstracting), and expressing it in a plane (translating for communication). So where does this desperate fear of drawing come from, why the huge negativity when it is something all of us have tried since earliest childhood — with brazen confidence, enormous success, pride in and praise for the outcomes?
