OrlandoSentinel: Preparing for possible war against Iraq, the Marine Corps has taken the unusual step of stopping all Marines from leaving the service for the coming 12 months... There are 173,000 US Marines on active duty and 100,000 in the reserves. Ceterum censeo, delenda est Mecca. 

The Economist: The panel's ruling --objectively speaking-- is incompetent and shameful. 

USS Clueless: ...Iraq is in material breach of the fundamental philosophy of UNSC 1441. To comply with it, the government of Iraq was required to give up its ambition to somehow retain at least some of its WMDs. Clearly it hasn't done so. This comes as no surprise. The war is already begun. Serious bombing and fighting will take place within weeks. After the occupation by US forces, the Iraqi people will have a chance to profit from the benevolent American influence and peace, and they will, maybe, nurture Freedom and the Industrial Revolution in the Arab Middle East. Ceterum censeo, delenda est Mecca. 

Some people are losing confidence, when they should be patient and supportive. Bush the Younger declared that he would deal with the axis of evil (Iraq, Iran, and North Korea). Unlike Bush the Elder, he neither lies nor deviates. No other country is willing or able to devote sufficient forces and resources to that end, so it must happen one at a time. Once Iraq is occupied by 100,000+ US troops, the surrounding islamofascist regimes will panic, resist, and fall. Still, the rest of Chaostan (NoKorea and Pakistan) will be tough.

World War II lasted 6-7 years, followed by 45+ years of Cold War. Ceterum censeo, delenda est Mecca. 

For years, Cato the Elder used to conclude every speech in the Roman senate, regardless of the subject, with the words Ceterum censeo, delenda est Carthago — In my opinion, Carthage must be destroyed. The city was indeed destroyed by the Romans at the end of the Third Punic War. Thus the saying Delenda est Carthago and its English equivalent Carthage must be destroyed are used to mean that obstacles to one's might and peace should be utterly annihilated.
