German official accuses President Bush and/or the US administration of acting like 'dictator'
The Americans look more and more like dictators with their unilateral decisions. No matter which variant he uttered, does Herr Kolbow believe that one is more acceptable than the other?
Blix hid new Iraqi weapon from Security Council
The British and US ambassadors plan to demand that Hans Blix reveals more details of a huge undeclared Iraqi unmanned aircraft, the discovery of which he failed to mention in his oral report to Security Council foreign ministers on Friday. Its existence was only disclosed in a declassified 173-page document circulated by the inspectors at the end of the meeting — an apparent attempt by Dr Blix to hide the revelation to avoid triggering a war.
Update: another Blix omission. FOX News:
International weapons inspectors have stumbled
upon a new kind of bomb in Iraq that could be used to strew smaller
bombs filled with chemical or biological agents over populated areas
but Blix chose not to mention this in his presentation.
Iranian officials indicted in terrorist case
An Argentine judge has ordered arrest warrants for four Iranian government officials who he says helped organize and carry out the 1994 bombing of a Jewish community center in Buenos Aires that left 85 people dead. But the judge balked at a recommendation by prosecutors that more than a dozen more senior Iranian officials, including Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran's spiritual leader, also be indicted.

Blix dissimulates the discovery of yet another material breach
NYT:
United Nations weapons inspectors in Iraq recently discovered a new variety of rocket seemingly configured to strew bomblets filled with chemical or biological agents over large areas, United States officials say.
...
An American official who described the weapon said it was discovered in
the last few months, since the United Nations inspectors returned to
Iraq in November. At first, he said, Iraq told the inspectors that it
was designed as a conventional cluster bomb, which would scatter
explosive submunitions over its target, and not as a chemical weapon. A
few days later, he said, the Iraqis conceded that some might have been
configured as chemical weapons.
